| Eye Camp Event - 17th Feb 2013 |
Our club eye camp event was held on 17th feb 2013 at Sakthi thirumana mandabam, Pudhupettai, Kannamangalam.
Conducted by the Medical Team mentioned below.
Lion, Lioness, Leo Members are participated and conducted the programme successfully.
The informations regarding the camp activities are described as follows.
Medical team has screened the eye of totally 93 patients. Among them,3 patients have been identified with early cataract and they have been advised for cataract surgery after few months.
48 patients have been advised for cataract surgery and 39 patients have been brought to hospital for treatment. Among them,32 persons have been identified with refractive error. And 14 of them have been prescribed spectacles and 13 persons have ordered and got their spectacles in the camp site itself.
Identified patients with other eye problems as listed as table below.
Out of 93 patients screened , 77 patients (83%) have been identified with various eye problems and they have been advised for appropriate medication.
